This is a Dondo-yaki. Dondo-yaki is an event burning the New Year ornaments to see off the New Year's god. With Dondo-yaki, children bake a rice case with a stick. We call it Mayu-dama. Ling and I are playing a Zoom meeting because dad went to his office today.
