The pathway to Zenko-ji

Image
It's a continuation of yesterday's post.  After praying at Zenko-ji, we walk around the pathway to the temple. We can see many historic buildings! There are many gift shops and food shops on the pathway. We visited a famous food shop. He is a mascot dog. Who are you? We have come here from Tokyo. We bought buns, which are traditional unique food in the area. Ha ha, Lei is bending backward because it's so delicious.  Oops! Lei has bought two buns. We tried bean-paste soft ice cream next. It's unique taste! Although  I wanted to eat this unique Tai-yaki, the shop was closing the day we visited. I have wanted to eat this. Original blog : in Japanese.

Zenko temple

We went to Zenko-ji temple. It's one of the grand head temples of the Biddist branch. People say these statues guard children. Thanks for us! It's a main hall! There is a lock in the temple's underground. We went to touch the lock because they said we'd be happy if we touched the block. I've touched it! Yeah! But, it's soft unexpectedly. That's my back, Ling! Original blog: in Japanese.

Ueda castle

Image
Xing, the castle is enormous! It's a moat of the castle. A part of the moat changed into a pond of the park. A part of the moat changed into a promenade; before that, it worked as a railroad. I came up with a good idea. Okay, I get it! Original blog : in Japanese.

To be continued

What's that? That's a Japanese shrine. There is a cake shop. We can enjoy a financier cake. The old Japanese lords pray the shrine to keep their country safe. So the lord of this castle built the shrine in their castle. Keep away from the well. This is a deep well. People say the lord used this well to escape when they fought a war. It's an instagrammable.   It's a continuation of yesterday's post. We've decided to give Xiao the remaining one because he is today's atar. So, enjoy this one! Xiao! Well. I'll eat it! Please eat it! But I want to eat it too... Oops, Lei also! Let me see... I'll share it all. Really?! That's great! When we eat it together, it's more delicious! Xiao is always a kind boy. Children's Day

Image
Mom gave us Kashiwa-mochi, which is a rice cake. We eat it on Children's Day. Xiao is a star of Children's Day. Children's Day mainly celebrates boys. Let me start my story. When I came here... Then, when I was one year old. Xiao, we know your story well. When we eat one each, one cake remains. Why are there five cakes instead of four? We are thinking of the number of cakes other than Xiao.
