We celebrate the star festival on the 7th of July. The origin of the festival is a China mythology.🎋

The mythology says a prince and princess can meet once a year on the 7th of July. The name of the prince is Hikoboshi and the princess is Orihime. The Hikoboshi is regarded as the star Altair and Orihime is regarded as the star Vega.✨


We write our wishing thing on a strip of paper at the festival and we decorate the bamboo tree with the paper. If we decorate that, the god grants our request which we wrote on the strip.


Aha, the god seemed to have granted Ling's wish.
